Flooring Nail Guns
Flooring nail guns are specifically designed to complete any flooring job quickly, neatly, and easily. Mainly, a floor nailer is used for hardwood and is designed with an angled shaft to accomodate the side nailing used in hardwood installation. There are two varieties of floor nailer. The most common flooring nail guns require a hit from a mallet to actuate the pnuematic shot to drive the nail. A less common style of floor nailer uses a trigger mechanism to actuate the shot.
Although most flooring nail guns are designed for hardwood installation, there are some models used for installing the subfloor for vinyl or tile underlayment.
